The Sixth International Conference on Nonlinear Vibrations, Localization and Energy Transfer will be held at University of Liège, Liège, Belgium. The oral presentations will take place in the newly-restored aula magna room of the University, located in the very center of the city of Liège (see below for a Google map).

The University of Liège is the only public, pluralist and complete university institution of the French Walloon-Brussels community in Belgium. It aims at maintaining a fair balance between teaching, research and community service activities, in the broad lines recognized by its complete university status.

The local organizing committee is part of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University. It is a multidisciplinary Faculty which offers a recognized training in Engineering Sciences and in Computer Sciences.


Liège can be reached by high-speed train from Paris, London or Amsterdam.


There are two major airports in Liège area which are approximately one hour away from Liège by public transportation:


  1. Brussels airport: There is a train from the airport to Liège (change train in Brussels Nord or in Leuven,
  2. Charleroi airport (Ryan Air hub) : From Charleroi, you should take a bus then a train to Liège


There are also two airports in Germany (Dusseldorf and Cologne) and one airport in the Netherlands (Maastricht-Aachen) which are approximately one hour from Liège by car.
